Combining Scores
I have a piece with multiple movements, and for some reason I opened a new musescore file for each movement. Is there any way I can now combine these separate scores?

Append measures->Copy&Paste?
(Using Section breaks)

This doesn't work at all if there are meter/measure-length changes, or changes in the number and layout of instruments.

Maybe. But I have no idea what the scores we're talking about are like. If I want to combine scores with differences, as you say, I add the measures; I insert the break; I set meter/measure-length changes in the first measure of the new section and paste. It wouldn't work for samanthareavis?

Sure, but you have to know that, and know what's involved, section-by-section copy. Still, if the instruments are different, it'd be hell.
Another workaround (because the album manager feature isn't yet implemented in MS 3.x):
Install MuseScore 2.3.2 (you can use both versions, 2.x and 3.x at the same time), export your MS 3 files as Musicxml and combine these scores with MS 2.3.2 using the album manager, afterwards you can still open the score with MS 3.x again.
