Deleting Measures
Hey, guys! A while back I asked how to delete measures. You guys helped me a lot, but I still don't know how to select measures to delete. Please help-- I'm working on a composition I'm performing at the end of the month, and I don't want any excess measures.
Thanks,
McCleffy

This is just telling me to select a measure and do ctrl-delete. But the real question I was asking in the first place: how do I SELECT a measure to delete?
Also, in the Handbook, see the whole section on Selection mdoes. MuseScore supports lots of different ways of selecting things. But the most common are the ones found in most other programs as well - eg, click one measure, shift+click another to select all measures between (this is the same way almost all program allow selection).

...I clicked a measure and did the keyboard shortcut, but it didn't work. Am I doing it wrong?

@McCleffy, when you click on a measure can you see the blue frame?

Check: Edit/Preferences/Shortcuts. You should see Ctrl+Del; Ctrl+Backspace.
If you inadvertently changed something you can reset the preferences as default or use:

Buona musica.
