Audio Glitches
Every time I start MuseScore, a loud beeping sound occurs. When I try to play a score, my audio then cuts out. In the synthesizer, it says that the volume is maxed out. I usually have to reset my preferences 2 or 3 times to get it to work again. When I exit the application and then restart it, the audio cuts out again. Does anybody know what is wrong? It is very difficult and frustrating to create scores right now. Thanks!

What version of MsueScore, what OS, and what settings do you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O? Any other audio applications running in the background? Anything unusual about your speaker configuration? Any other information you can think that might be relevant in helping us understand what makes your system unique in some way that triggers this?

I am using MuseScore 2.0.2 Revision f51dc11. My platform is Windows 10. Sometimes I have Microsoft Edge open, sometimes not. My port audio API is set to MME. My device is set to my Logitech USB Headset. I know that the headphones are not my problem, because they still work on all other applications. When I reset my preferences, the I/O does not change. I do think that my sound font: FluidR3_GM.sf3 may be corrupted. It has deleted itself in the past, so I had to download MuseScore again to get it back. Also, the problem happens with all scores.
I tried to send you my Muse Score's files, but I could only compress it to 50 MB.

You have score that are 50 MB big???
Whatever, this might be one of the rare cases where reinstalling MuseScore could help

Just because a particular device works with other applications doesn't mean it isn't the problem - it could be that there is a bug in the device driver that some applications run into but others don't, or a bug in the libraries we use for audio that doesn't recognize something about that specific device, etc. So do try a different audio device.
As for the soundfont, most likely it doesn't actually delete itself, but due to changes in how you've installed it or changes you made in Edit / Preferences, MuseScore may have tried looking for it in the wrong place. If that happens again, let us know and we can try to dfigure out what happened. Perhaps whatever is going on with your installation that makes that happen is related to the glitches, although I kind of doubt it.
