Subdividing compound meters
I'm really at a loss as to the issue in question, although I have read the relevant chapters in the tutorial. I just don't seem to be able to implement the instructions.
For instance, I have a piece in 11/8 and I want to subdivide individual measures into 3+3+3+2 while others will be constructed as 3+3+2+3. But I can't do any of it, because Musescore automatically links all the quavers by a single beam.
I tried to enter a proper definition at the master palette, but it didn't work. Also, I understand there's a "beam palette" somewhere, but I haven't been able to locate it.
If anyone can explain the practical manner to solve this issue, I'll be most thankful!
Sincerely,
Dorit

Yes, I have. I click the next note and absolutely nothing happens... What am I missing?
Alternatively, how do I enter values into the left side of the properties window?

HTH ... I am attaching some explanation (unfortunately I do not speak English)

Two different meters (a = 3 + 3 + 3 + 2, b = 3 + 3 + 2 + 3)

That's brilliant, thank you!
Did you simply reenter the time signature in order to modify the subdivision?

Yes, I repeated the procedure twice.
Did you find the info in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signatures#change-default-beaming?
Edit: Oh, sorry, that's mentioned above already.
