orchestral score - instruments on one staff then separate

Hi folks,

Is there a way to have multiple instruments on one line on one page (for unisons or doubling), and then have them separate out into three staves when there is more complex counterpoint?

In my screenshot, you can see I have three trombones together in unison, but I want to hide those separate staves because it's taking up too much space and could cause confusion for the conductor.

Vice versa too. I would want to hide the single staff (for unison lines) once they are separated out.
