Shortening score line in the end.
Hi all
I'm new to MuseScore and I find it great.
I have a simple operation I can't figure out.
I have a piece of music containing 10 bars at all.
One line with 4 bars
Another line with 4bars
A final line with 2 bars
The problem is that all thre lines are the same length (from left to right margin on the page). This means that the final line has two bars of twice the length of the other bars leaving a lot of space inbetween the notes.
So: how do I shorten the final line so the bars will have the same length as all the other bars, and it won't go all the way to the right margin of the page.
Kind regards
Per Lindhof

use line breaks:

like this example:

Hi Kuwitt
Thanks.
It doesn't work. It will break the line, but it won't move in the margin.
If you see the added example in bar 16 and 17 (don't mind the music it's pure testing).
And how will you continue with new bars under the broken line?

Thanks a lot - you made my day ;-).

There are a lot of possibilities to change the layout (and I'm not aware about all ;-)
You can also change the spacing of a measure
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/general-style-measure (in this case I set the spacing to 1.000), so that you have four measures per line.
Another possibility is like Jojo said to append a horizontal frame.

Great this is what I needed also.
Note that adding and deleting frames I receive:
MuseScore.exe has stopped working
An unhandled Win32 exception has occured

Restart MuseScore, try again, crash again.
Is there a known problem with Frames?
(Version 2.0.2 on Windows 10)

Not that I know of (at least under my system (opensuse)).
Maybe you should write down the steps to reproduce.

Is it either of #90766: Issue during creating horizontal frame or #91471: Crash on load of score with horizontal frame taking an entire system?

In order for us to say for sure if this is a known and perhaps already-fixed bug, please psot the score you are having trouble with and precise steps to reproduce the problem.

Yes, as a programmer myself I know that this is extremely difficult (if not impossible) to fix a bug without recreating steps, especially in complex software.
I have tried during sevral minutes (not more I confess) to find a predictable way to get the crash but couldn't find one.
