Tablature

In the musescore 1.0, can I create tablatures?

I found, in pallete Clefs, a sign TAB,

but don't alter nothing,

its possible use bends, real glissandos, tremolo bar, etc?

the notation for eletric guitar and rock music methinks weak, it's right?

thanks

I'ts great!

I'll be waiting anxiouly

but I use musescore since 0.96

the program progress very much....

actually, i's very better

How will funcione bends? The guitar5 pro use LFO (low frequency oscilator) technology.

I use Guitar pro 6 too. I's horrible write to orquestra instruments, but to rock-band instruments it's great,

the sound of guitars, eletric basses, drums is very realist, use RSE technology, exclusive technology,

In my opnion, it's very more realist than the Finale or Sibelius, in this instance.

musescore 2.0 will do something of genre?

I know the difference of scorewrites and sequenciators...

but it's will be interesting...

In guitar pro 6, it get diferenciate open string and pressionate strings, I speak of timbre...

Musescore 2.0 will be possible it?

In musescore 2.0 will be possible change the instrument in the same track?

In the Guitar pro 5.0 iit's possible.

Musescore will use Sf2, General Midi, Vsts or other possibilities?

I guitar pro 6 it not is possible... but.... it change the spectrum or timbre more widely....

Thank You.

MuseScore 2.0 will still use SF2 and possibly SFZ, and there is no plan as far as I know to integrate a specialized synthetizer for Guitar except if someone come with the motivation and the skills to do something

As you highlight, MuseScore is first and above all a score writer. Midi out is not planned, VST/AU are proprietary...

Changing instruments in the middle of a *staff* will be possible in MuseScore. (Track is the sequencer word). I don't know about open/pressed string sound difference.
You can try a preview of MuseScore 2.0 (not stable, not to be used for serious work). See http://prereleases.musescore.org/windows/nightly

Thank You, man,

In guitars is possible play the same note in many way, but all ways sound diferent....

Digitations, fingerings change the timbre... but don't change extremely...

but it occur in violins and others too(all strings struments)....

harmonics change the timbre too....

But... Ok... Relax....

It don't is necessary, but will be great...Musescore will can sound more realist...

The file instruments.xml controls what sounds are used for different instruments, and it is possible to set up an instrument to use different sounds in different situations if you like. Violins are already set up that way - there is both an "arco" and a "pizzicato" patch. Once this is set up in instruments.xml, you can then define a staff text element to trigger the change from one sound to another (enter the staff text normally, then right click and select Staff Text Properties). This works even in 1.0. But 2.0 looks like it will have more capabilities in this area.

So if you have a sondfont that has different samples for open and fingered strings, you could get playback to use these by using staff texts for the fingering changes (or create invisible staff texts if you prefer to enter your fingerings differently).

I'ts Good...

As, I hate the sound of "A", fifth strings of guitars, why it is more "ressonant" or "fort", still It's horrible changing the sound fount....

Do file instrument.xml is the responsible?

I'm experimenting the nyght-construction, version of test...

How The bending will sound...

the vibratos, tremolo bar, death notes is lacking still....

Envolpes of sound are nessesary in the Eletrical Guitar repertory...

The death notes, written "X" format of head, can be sound through file instrument.xml...

In the classical guitar modern repertory, percussion(diferent of dead notes...)s and timbristics changes(ponticellos, sul tastiera) are frequent,

For exemple ,Composers like Celso Machado and Paulo Bellinati....

The classical guitar don't have padronization of percussion notation,

It's can be interesting...

What do you by "it's horrible changing the sound font"? It's very simple - Display / Synthesizer / Sound Font. And there are quite a few free sound fonts available for download online. You *should* be able to edit instruments.xml to access all the different sounds that the sound font supports, so if you find a sound font that has the sounds you want, there should be nothing preventing you from using them. If you can't find a sound font that has the sounds you want, there probably in't anything MuseScore can really do - it isn't control over that aspect of playback; "fluidsynth" is, and it's limited to what the sound font supports.

The idea of having different noteheads automatically invoking different sounds is a really good one, though! Right now, the only way I know to access the different sounds is through staff text elements, or "instrument change" in the nightly builds. But just as percussion staves let you define different note types, that sounds like a wonderful enhancement that could be added for other instruments.

In fact, it also suggests to me an elegant way to accomplish my own #1 feature request: "slash" notation for lead sheets. Simply allow instruments.xml to define a special note with a special notehead, locked to a specific staff line and set to no playback. Define one of these for stemless slashes, one of these for rhythmic slashes. Allow keyboard shortcuts to create that special note type just as easily as we create ordinary notes, and MuseScore would then become the easiest of the major notation applications for that purpose!

The A2 or A3, fifth open string All soundfont tha I experimented is more fort, ressonant...
so, I don't know... I'll experiment new sound fonts...
I have Fluid, Heavy Metal live 4.0, Real Fonts and many others...

The dead notes is frequent in the eletric guitar solist repertory...
Dead notes are damped with the left hand... it have percussive sound too...
It will be good....

Are represent with "X", different of slashes....
Harmonicos is represents through diamond head(lozenge),,,
Musescore don't permit it still....
