Lyrics don't have underscores or hyphens
At the moment lyrics doesn't seem to show - and _ ; although the formatting looks much better, e.g. for "poore", where an underscore should be below the seconde note!
Now the syllable is below both notes - very good!
BTW - I couldn't use version 2.1, therefore I used 3.0-dev?

2.1 indeed is 3.0-dev, just not yet changed in code
Don't think so, as this is the same with new scores. The hyphen is never shown for me, although there is space enough ...
Also forcing hyphen or unchecking it, doesn't make any difference.
BTW - musescore crashed while inputting the lyrics of the childrens' song "Alle meine Entchen" ...
Indeed, I find no hyphens or melisma lines show either. But I am psyched to see that the note spacing now allows a long melisma lyric to overlap the next note. I believe that's intentional and means that we can probably close #33246: Hyphenated melisma requires too much space. Although I guess we should wait until the melismas actually work.
I also noticed, that the overall look of the lyrics and the notes now is much better! Seems to be a big step forward. And also the problem with too narrow gaps between words seems to have been solved.
But as you said, it will be good to wait until everything works with hyphens and melismas.
I opened PR2644 for a fix.
EDIT: I was early here. Still needs some more work.
