ABC Import plugin - import into current score

Is there further reading on how to use the ABC Import plugin?

When I import ABC text using the plugin, it creates a new score, rather than importing it into the one I'm working on (the one with my Style preferences already set up, for instance). I can cut and paste into my intended score, of course, but I'm wondering if there's a better way.
