Problem with title picture and text
Hello all,
I am working on an arrangement for band, and I thought it would be nice to add a picture to the cover of the score and make the text larger. The problem is that the picture appears on the individual parts, and if I delete it on a part and/or change the size of the text, it deletes and/or alters on the main score page. Is this a bug or is there any way to sort this out?
Thanks,

Between the score and the parts some elements (or properties) are linked and some not. The content is linked. That means, you cannot delete an element only in the parts.
But you can make it invisible (shortcut v). So you can make the picture invisible in the parts. Attention: You must switch off the visibility in menu View to get the result!
I'm astonished that the font size is linked, while the font color is not linked. The font size is adjusted in the text command bar which appears when editing the text while the font color is adjusted in the inspector. This is inconsequent and will hopefully be normalized one day.
Workaround: You can insert another text (e.g. a subtitle) into the score and make it invisible like the picture.

Font size is indeed linked, while it really should not.
But changing text style works, that is not linked.
Reported in #107946: Text size of an individual text is shared/synced between score and part

The text toolbar is just a fancy way of changing content, so changes you apply that way are shared just like changes to the actual characters in the text. After all, you might change size of just one word within the text.
Thank you both. Using the method of making the picture invisible and unchecking the view invisible items box, I was able to reposition the text in the parts and clean everything up. Thank you for your help.
