Untick 'Show courtesy' for clefs does not work.
nightly 994090f, linux
1. new score (treble)
2. drag bass clef to treble clef on the second line (make sure that it changes the treble clef)
3. select bass clef and inspector -> untick "Show courtesy"
Result: courtesy clef is still there.

Seems key signatures have a similar or at least related problem:
Empty score in C-Major
Add a kesy sig, any with # or b, to first measure
Result: it shows in first measure only, not at the start of other systems!
Now select that keysig and untic 'Show Courtesy in Inspector
Result: all systems now start with that keysig.
Hmm, maybe this is #140256: Regression: no key signatures at beginning of systems if any instrument is unpitched percussion, only seems to happen with "My First Score"
Jojo,
The problem you mention has to do with the insertion of a key signature not triggering a layout of the section of the score affected by the key change. This is fixed in fix #271066: Affected range not updated after key change #3608. It has nothing to do with the "Show courtesy" checkbox for clefs. It also has nothing to do with the problem involving unpitched percussion.
OK, thanks for checking, so it is #271066: Affected range not updated after key change, right?
