Another test of 2.0
Taking a cue from Miwarre, I decided to try Musescore 2.0 on a non-trivial task, just to see how far I could get. I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. Here is a link to an mp3 exported from a score in 2.0 (nightly 4305):

Just wondering, did you make the score from scratch in the nightly or did you open an existing a 1.x score? In case you opened one, did you have to do some relayouting of the score?

I imported a 1.0 version I had started to write that was too hard to play, so I used 2.0 to revise it to make it more playable. So maybe half and half between the two versions. I had no problem importing the fragment I had made in 1.0 as an mscz file.
Does this mean 2.0 can export mp3 directly?
EDIT: yes, apparently it does, provided you have the lame_enc.dll
