display tips on boot or startcenter
Many programs, especially ones with lots of features/complexity, will display short text of a random tip about the program during a loading screen. This is useful for gradually educating users. I was just thinking if MuseScore had this, then there would be fewer silly questions on the forums. The boot splash window usually lasts for 5-20 seconds depending on machine, which is enough time to read a short sentence, or the tips could be put on the start center.
I guess would have write the tips and also have to worry about translating the tips, but maybe a copy & paste of sentences from the handbook (that make sense when self-contained) would work.
