CPU usage of 15% when idle.... Musescore 2.0.3 on Windows XP
Hi I recently downloaded musescore 2.0.3 and run it under XP SP3
I noticed that it has significant CPU consumption when it's doing nothing.... 3-10%
Is that normal or is this a bug?

It seems to be a bug that a small number of users are seeing and as far as I know no one has figured out exactly why. One thing that hads been noticed it that for some of the people who are seeing this, the issue is connected to the use of the Navigator, and turning that off via the View menu (or in some cases even just resizing it) makes the problem go away.

And even switching it on again didn't make the problem to show up again.

Resizing the navigator fixed the problem for me. Musescore had become very unresponsive and hard to use until I found this work-around.
Just a note that this was worked out and fixed for the next version of MuseScore: #113396: High CPU usage with navigator on
