A couple of words in the lyrics of a song are in a paler grey than the rest and they don't print out. I can't find the reason, can anybody help.

They were probably made invisible by accident. MuseScore uses that grey to allow you to interact with invisible elements.
Select them and press 'V' once to make them visible again or use the inspector (F8) to toggle the corresponding checkmark.
