Project
1. Open MuseScore.
2. Open Piano Keyboard (in Synthesiser).
3. Click a note on the Piano Keyboard.
Expected result: Piano sounds.
Actual result: Voice sounds.
Discussion: Perhaps there could be a choice what instrument you use.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4360) - Mac 10.4.11.
Comments
Perhaps it should be called something like 'Music Keyboard' if other instruments were to sound.
Or just 'Keyboard'
I did wonder about 'Keyboard', but some may think of QWERTY.
Hmm, well, for me in German "Keyboard" always means "Keyboard instrument" or "Tasteninstrument" while QWERTY (actually QWERTZ for me) is "Tastatur" (and yet another meaning would be "Schlüsselbrett", the board where you can hang your car-keys etc. at home).
"Piano Roll" then?

How about "computer keyboard" or "alphanumeric keyboard"?
This issue tracker has been discontinued, and this issue here in particular is so oled that we should bette let it rest in peace.
The steps in the inotial post don't make any sence nowadays and apparently didn't even back then with MuseScore 2.x: there is no piano keyboard in synthesizer (and no synthesizer anymore at all in MuseScore 4
