Breaking triplets from succedding quavers
Hi , if I create a quaver triplet followed by further quavers I get a beam connecting the 5 notes. How can I split the triplet from the succeeding quaver pair?

Select the note (click) go to Beam Properties palette -> clic on Start a beam at this note https://musescore.org/en/handbook/beam
You could also configure the default schema of the beams for each measure (of the particular staff):
Right-click at the time signature (6/4) → Time Signature Properies → Click at the 5th eight note to separate it.
See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signature#change-default-beaming

And if you have done it for the first line, you can actually copy the time sign by selecting it and copy it by CTRL-C. Afterwards you can select any other time sign and use the other one, that you have adjusted, by inserting it via CTRL-V.

Wow, super info! I often configured the time signatures one by one, and in large scores that's really hard work. Thank you for this post!
