Restore and Load own created templates don't work in Version 1.0 (German)
Templates are saved in ".mss" format. But if a template is loaded only ".mscx" format are allowed.

And that problem does not exist if Language is set to something else?
It might be a translation problem but if so it's solved. See the translation server
MSS files are MuseScore Style and not template. Can you explain how you try to import the MSS file?
Can a german user confirm that it's no more a problem in MuseScore 1.2 and put this issue on fixed?
Works fine in 1.2
