Static Number of Measures in a line
I'm wondering if there is a way to set the number of measures that appear in a line. For example, let's say I want 5 measures per line for the whole piece. Is that doable without manually inputing linebreaks every 5 measures.

@XavierJazz do you often use style for this? You often advice this feature. I have problems with it. It works well for you?

that it works very well. The only problem I have with it is that the 1st system cannot be excluded. Often I write music with a pick-up, and so I would like some way to alter the number of measures in the 1st system.
I have this set up in one of my styles.
I have put in a feature request about this some time ago.
I have never used the plug-in.

Addendum to first question: can you have the first line 4 measures, then the remaining lines be 5 measures?
Next question: can each line be forced to be 5 measures even if normally the 5th measure be pushed to the next line? This would mean that some measures would look a little "squished" if the measure has a lot of 8th/16th/etc. notes.
Feature request: font size automatically adjusts so that it the measures would not look squished.

A plugin could easily be made to accomodate the first line. You can change the scaling of the score in Layout -> Page settings -> Scaling

I'd propose the existing plugin simply be fixed to only operate on the selected measures. I can take a look at that...
