Unable to save musescore works

So recently (about a day or so ago) I've realised that as soon as i try to save my work musescore shows me this unknown error and then the file crashes. When i reopen my files any changes I try to make doesn't show. The same applies with works that i have already completed- I can press save and the same error appears.

I doubt if this is a musescore error as it seems more like an error on my end, however I would like to ask if anyone has experienced such an error before and provide some tips to overcoming it?
