MuseScore 2.0 with Jack/Carla/Kontakt Player 5
I am interested in routing MuseScore's MIDI output to play through virtual synthesizers in Kontakt Player 5. Is this possible? I have seen threads on the subject, such as here (https://musescore.org/en/node/85661), but I have not had any success yet. What exactly is necessary to get this working? I read something about loopMIDI/loopBE or Carla, but I don't know what the function of these programs is or how to get them working. I believe I have Jack configured correctly, and I have Kontakt Player working with ASIO4ALL. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I am in the process of finding out and the thing I see is on youtube some one finally figures it out and says nothing about it and I (for a meny days) have been trying to find the solution to this problem. To simplify the whole situation, I think that MuseScore should just support VSTi's that way it all is a simple easy thing to open up.
But if you do find the solution to this whole matter, please post a forum on MuseScore and be the heroes of all of the composers that cry to the MuseScore group to fix this problem and... you get the picture.

Note that in the upcoming major version (currently master) MuseScore is capable of providing a direct MIDI output without the need for Jack.

And there are still chances this gets included in a 2.2 too, if it is tested well enough and we can be ceartain enough that it doesn't cause issues.
