Del segno in a set of repeats how to.
I was working on composing can't stop the feeling and put a del sego in a set of repeats.
The del segno completely skips the fact that it's in a set of repeats.
can someone help with this.

Isn't this what a volta is for?
Dal segno is generally used to have the music jump backwards and start over from there. Example: You have a piece that has the following overall structure:
Introduction -- Part A -- Part B -- Part A.
Instead of printing the Part A twice you put a dal segno marking at the end of Part B and place the segno at the beginning of Part A, right after the intro. You also place the marking Fine at the end of Part A so the music does not continue into B again.
If you don't have the intro you use da capo analogously.
In your example above put a prima volta on bar 3 and a seconda volta on bar 4 and it will do in playback what you want it to do (if I understand you correctly). And human musicians will play it correctly too.

I want it to go,
"Measure 1, measure 2, mesure 3, measure 1, measure 2, measure 4."
If that makes any sense.
If I do need a volta, where can I find it.
I might need a little more help because I'm only 13.
Thanks.

Delete the segno and the D.S. Open the Lines palette on the left, drag the "1." onto measure 3, and drag the "'2." onto measure 4. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/volta for lots more details.

You need to use first and second endings (often called 'voltas').
First of all, delete all the segnos and so forth that you have already entered. Now:
Press F9 to open the main palettes list, if it is not already open.
Click on 'Barines' in that list to open the barlines menu, then click-and-hold to drag repeat barlines to the appropriate places in the score (beginning and end of your repeated section).
Click on 'Lines' in the palettes lists to open the lines menu, and click-and-drag a 'prima volta' or 'first ending' line to the proper place in the score.
Write the material you want played the second time after the repeat barline, and then click-and-drag a second-ending line to cover that.
If you're still having trouble, attach the score you're working on and someone here may be able to fix it for you. See the "File Attachments" link at the bottom of the message-input page.
