Time Signature Notation Errors
There is a problem with the way MuseScore notates the notes when changing the time signature from simple to compound (or vice versa) in the beginning of a song. I think it's best if I provide an example.
I went through the new score wizard, configuring the time signature to 3/4 time. I notated a few semiquavers (sixteenth notes), and they were notated correctly (four semiquavers per beat). But then I changed my mind and decided to go with 6/8 instead. So I deleted everything I notated (it was only one measure long), dragged and then dropped 6/8 time from the palette to the beginning of the score. Then I started over.
The 6/8 notation ends up being notated in the same configuration as if it were in 3/4 time. You probably know that 6/8 time should have 6 ordinary eighth notes, with a beam connecting every 3 of them. It should also have 12 sixteenth notes, with a beam connecting every 6 of them.
This did not happen when I changed the time signature like so. If I initially had configured the score as 6/8 time in the wizard, notated a few measures in that time signature, but then changed my mind to go with 3/4 instead of 6/8, the notes would still be notated in the 6/8 configuration.
Do any of you have the same problem as I do? Please try it with the latest verson of MuseScore, as that's what I have. I'd love to hear from you guys about this and how it can be fixed without going through the beam properties every time.
Thanks in advance.

is a duple rhythm. Agreed.
Regards,
Looks like a bug. To workaround it, you could create a new score in 6/8 and copy paste the music into it. The beams will be OK.
I created a bug report : #12161: [1.1] Changing time signature should change autobeam properties

I just read your bug report and I hope this will be fixed ASAP! In the meantime, however, I'll take your advice and use those workarounds until it gets fixed. Thanks.
