Vertical line appears in score
Bar 116 beat 2 - started to enter notes in beat 2 and that strange vertical line appears.
That line was in the score prior to this until I deleted bar 116 and it went away.
This has happened before but the line eventually went away, but not leaving now.
Time signature change creates large black slurs.
This is not related to the event above, the time signature change was done separately.
Bar 119 changed time signature from 4/4 to 9/8 and large black slurs appear.
This has been happening in the past month or so when changing time signatures, didn't happen before that.
Attaching score
Thanks

No idea what the line is. But if you go to Format>Page settings and change the scaling up or down one notch, it goes away.

Thank you, that got rid of the line where it is but did this:
Went up 1 notch and it moved the line to the middle of the next page and created an extra blank page after it.
Went down 1 notch and it created a new blank page After the next page and put the line between the pages.

I notice that if I start to drag the score to the right, the line goes away. Also it doesn't show up in a PDF.

For some reason, this vertical line is due to a tuplet number (or/and bracket) in Voice2 that has gone astray and produced this visual glitch: as you can clearly see in the Properties, by increasing the thickness. At 'Number type', if you choose “None”, the line disappears, or 'Bracket type' ("3" rather Auto).
But the right solution to fix the glitch: simply right-click a tuplet in Voice1 or Voice2, it doesn't matter, then Select/ Similar, and Ctrl/Cmd + R (like Reset)
See now your file: 1PianoStudy22-sample2.mscz
And for the first issue (rather large Ties than Slurs?), I guess it's the same origin as this one: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/27888

Thanks very much for your answer.
I have tried your instructions:
simply select a triplet in Voice1 or Voice2, it doesn't matter, then Similar, and Ctrl/Cmd + R (like Reset)
for each of the 3 triplets in Bar 123 and done the CTL + R but nothing changes.
I don't see anything in the Properties to select called 'Similar' or if it means something else.

Seems @cadiz1 forgot to mention that you need to right click a tuplet to see the select menu

Yes of course : right-click a tuplet / Select / Similar / Ctrl/Cmd + R
