HIDE rests in a 2 voiced measure between Sop/Alto?
I'm using two separate voicing for Sop. and Alto where Sop. on quarter notes and Alto on half note. How do I HIDE the rest from the Alto line? I assume it would be the same for Tenor/Bass.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all you have to do is select whichever rests you want to not display and press the checker box entitled "Visible" in the Inspector panel on the right side of the screen. This will grey out the rests: they will still show, but if you export to PDF or the like, they will not be displayed. If you want to not see them at all while working, you have two more options:
1) Uncheck View->"Show Invisible" from the top menu. This will make the working score be more similar to the final output. You can re-enable this as you please.
2) The other option which may come in handy is actually deleting the rests (selecting the rest and pressing the delete key), but I've found that this must be done on a non-first-voiced rest.
There may be other options, but I'm unaware of them. Good luck with your scoring.

Thank you!
The only thing I would add to what @worldwideweary mentioned is that if the soprano and alto lines are in different voices then there is an easy way to hide all of the Alto rests at once. Simply right-click on one of the Alto rests, choose "Select > More > Same Voice > OK" and then press "V" or hit delete.

Generally, if it is not already clear, pressing "v" toggles elements between visible and invisible.
