Multi rest measures
Hi, gang!!!
I have a little problem with multi rest measures.
Please, see the attachment.
As you can see, I want to put 16 rest (empty) measures before the sung part, because this part is instrumental only.
I could to put the 16 multi rest measure indicator, yes. BUT... I got a not useful extra multi rest measures indicator at the end of the unfinished piece, that I can't erase.
How can I fix this? ???
Greetings & Blessings!!!!!!!

If the piece is not finished, don't turn on multimeasure rests. It is meant to be turned on at the very end if you are entering individual parts. But note you wouldn't normally be expected to be entering individual parts in the first place - normally, you enter the *score*, and then ask MuseScore to generate the parts for you, and multimeasure rests are turned on for the parts automatically. Showing multimeasure rests in a score is defintely not the norm. I guess in your case, you are choosing to not enter the instrumental prts that should really be there. If you are indeed planning to not enter the instrumental parts for whatever reason, just wait until the piece is otherwise more finished - until you have notes entered for all measures that will eventually contain notes - before turning on multimeasure rests.
I see!
The reason because I didn't include the instrumental part is because I didn't write it with MuseScore (it is on a prerecorded audio file).
I thought I could to start the score with those 16 empty measures, indicated with the multi rest measures option.
Well, now I know we have to write all the score and, then, to use the multi rest measure option.
So... We learn something new... every moment!!!
Greetings & Blessings from Chile!!!!!!!
