Insert Repeats
Hello, I am new to Muse Score, just wrote my first score. Looking through the available tools I can't
find how to insert repeats or set the tempo. It must be there somewhere, what am I missing?

Hello, and welcome! If you are not already aware, there is a free online Handbook that answers these questions and many others - see the Help menu within MuseScore, or the Handbook n the menu at right of this page. There are sections labelled "Repeats" and also "Tempo" that should answer your questions. But the short answers are:
If by repeats you mean the repeat barlines, they are on the Barlines palette. If you need first and second endings (voltas), they are under Lines. Segnos, codas, etc are under Repeats & Jumps.
Tempo markings, like other text markings, are found in the Text palette. You can also override the actual tempo temporarily using the Play Panel (eg, to hear playback slower than normal while checking for errors or for practice purposes).

Tempo markings are not in the Text palette. They're in the palette above it.
