Downloading issues
I used to have no problem downloading scores. Then I started getting a message that the download failed because my version of MS was too old and needed to be updated. I currently am using V2.0.3. I thought it was saying that because I hadn't removed the old V1.3 from my computer, so I uninstalled it. But now I get a message that there's something wrong with the soundfont and I need to add the old TimGM6mb.sf2 soundfont. Well, it was never removed, it's just not at the top of the list on the synthesizer. Anybody got a simple fix for this?
Comments
If I'm not mistaken the soundfont high on the list is the one used by default.
From where you download?
Are perhaps scores made with Nightly?
Could you make a screenshot of that message and attach it to a comment on this thread? That will help to give you proper support. Thanks!

Ciao a tutti.
If I double-click a file saved with 2.0.3 (the associated program is 1.3)
If on a file saved with Nightly I select 'Open with 2.0.3'
@hmscomp, you mean this?
In reply to Ciao a tutti. If I by Shoichi
So in case you have the message as in the first screenshot shared by Shoichi, all you need to do is properly uninstall MuseScore 1.3, or associate MuseScore 2 with the mscz filetype.

Here it is. I hope I don't have to toggle the soundfonts back and forth from bottom to top on the synthesizer every time I want to download a score.

Yes, the problem just seems like the soundfonts in use on your synthesizer. Here, on Vista runs smoothly (on MsS.com the soundfont is standard).
But you have to right click -> Open With -> MuseScore (2.0.3)
