No sound output
Hello,
I'm at work, and using my Mac, 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, system 10.6.8.
Tried opening a file I brought with me from home to make a quick edit, but there was no sound. I was using Musescore 0.9.6.
I tried updating to 1.1, still no sound using the default piece that opens with Musescore. I've downloaded an alternate soundfont, set it up, restarted, still no sound.
All my other programs that use sound (iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Garageband) work fine.
Any ideas what is going on? Thanks for any help.
Brian

Have you tried opening the Edit Preferences dialogue and the I/O pane and clicking the Reset to defaults button?
It's a long shot but it worked for another guy who had enabled Jack MIDI out by mistake.

1.1 was a brand new download, so absolutely nothing was changed. However, I went to that panel, hit the restore to default button anyway, and restarted. Still no sound.

Can you check the sound level ? In Display -> Synthesizer ? in Display -> Play panel ?

Can you run Musescore on the command line to see if you have any error?
Follow instructions at Revert to factory settings

Thanks. That seems to have done the trick - the sound is working now.
