Performance problems (150 bar score)
I encounter unacceptable lag while editing a score in the attachment. In particular, modifying chord symbols is really slow, as well as moving notes. I think that this applies to all scores which are moderate in size.
System: Win 10 x64, CPU i5 460M 2.7 Ghz, 6 GB RAM.
Note: In my opinion, the performance shouldn't be related to score's size. This is a major problem related to rendering and layout. From some point, when a score is longer than, let's say, two pages, the performance should remain constant. Maybe some threading could help?
Note2: I've downloaded 2016-10-08-1507-master-fecad90 nightly and it crashes after opening this file.

Disabling the Navigator might help a bit
Disabling the Navigator might help a bit. When a delay is 3 sec per keystroke it is not a valid workaround.
Have you tried it?
It's a well-known issue that performance lags with larger scores, because the entire score gets laid out on every edit. This is being worked on for MuseScore 3, by not laying out the entire score on every edit - only the part that has changed.
