from the palette add the line;
Right-click on the Line -> Properties to adjust the hooks;
Use Inspector to allow diagonal:

Thanks, but even though "Allow Diagonal" is checked the line still isn't tracking the contour of the notes. It's just sitting parallel to the staff.

Okay, I was just wondering if there was an automatic way to do it, but this will have to do. Thank you!
Hi!
I'm trying the same thing, but it just doesn't work. I can Right-Click on the bracket in the list, but only get grey words, so I can't click on any.. What could be wrong? I'm using 2.0..
Thanks!!
Marijke
