No, it's currently not possible. Why would you want to hide it?
Thanks. It was just an idea that I had for creating scores with different colours etc.
Looks like I will probably use screen capture software instead
Many thanks
:)

You realize that MuseScore can export to graphic formats; including svg? Which should allow easier changing of colors when needed.

Yep. Thanks. However, I want to make a score to run within Musescore
:)

If you explain more precisely what you want to achieve, we might be able to help.

Thanks! Yes. Well I am trying to create a 'boomwhacker score' - using the correct 'coloured notation' and boomwhacker sounds. However, without the staff behind the notes.
:)

Right-click the staff and open up the staff-properties.
1. Tick 'Invisible staff lines'
2. Open up the 'Advanced Style-properties' and untick what you don't want (key/time signature).
3. Optionally clear out the long instrument name
If you're now in continuous view, you should only see the measure number and the left border line in blue.

Thanks. I will try that later today. I'm working on the boomwhacker samples at the momet :)
