Extracted parts should copy the "Score Properties" from the full score?
It could be that I'm not doing something right, but when I extract and export parts in MuseScore2 format, the "Score Properties" are not carried over from the full score. It becomes quite tedious re-entering the same information (composer, arranger, movement number, title, copyright, etc.) for each part.
This seems to me to be an oversight. I edit the extracted parts separately as I find that editing a large score with "linked" parts can be very slow when an individual part is modified.
Since I use a common footer for the score and parts, is it possible to set the : name to "Full Score" or some such when printing?

I found the easiest way is to save the full score as a part then remove the other parts (Edit/Instruments) That way everything else is preserved providing you have the markings for that line in place such as dynamics.

That's an interesting approach; I'll have to give it a try.

Not quite sure what you mean. The generated parts *do* inherit the score properties from the original, so footers should work fine. I guess maybe you are saying you export the parts to separate files? I don't recommend doing that - it loses the information linking the two, so changes to one won't be reflected in the other. Yes, it can be slower to work with a score once parts have been generated, so just wait until you are basically done before generating the parts.
That said, sure, I'd agree that if you do export parts to separate scores for whatever reason, they should inherit the settings. That's worth filing as a bug report to the issue tracker.
