Midi step input
I have yet to attempt any midi inputting into Musescore, but I have a question regarding it.
If I'm inputting a score which uses a grand staff and each staff has two voices, it would be a time saver to tell Musescore practically: "I'm going to be inputting 4-note chords, and I want them to be spaced as to have the top two notes to be voice-1 & voice-2 of the treble clef with the bottom two notes to be voice-1 and voice-2 of the bass clef. If some chords end up being only 3 notes, then let the bottom note be voice-1 of the bass clef and leave voice-2 alone (or add a rest depending on a setting)".
Is this functionality present in Musescore? If not, is it something thought about for the future? If not, then this is a suggestion ;)
Peace.

No, this does not exist. I can see why you might want this, but I don't think it makes sense to lock that into MIDI input - it's something people using other input method need to do as well. better to just have good explode functions than can be applied after the fact.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I can accept that. I think I "overheard" some posts regarding work being done on improving explode/implode functionality for version 3.0.
Good luck to the current programming team!
