Please bring back the old tempo markings.
It's so hard to put rit. in a score. I have to multiply the tempo by 90% in order to change the tempo.

Which old tempo markings are you talking about? Andante, allegro etc? What does that have to to with having to multiply tempo by 90 % or putting in a rit.?
But if you are looking for an easier way to add a rit with playback to the score, see https://musescore.org/project/tempochanges for a plugin.
For the record, though, Musescore has never supported automatic playback of "rit" markings . But adding this marking is trivially easy: press Alt+T to enter tempo text, type "rit." That's actually rather easier than in any older versions.
