help with a tab issue please

Hi everyone

I just started using this a couple of weeks ago and have been slowly entering some of my guitar sheets in from my instructor so mostly slashes and chords but a few have tabbed out riffs or solos and I'm having a hard time figuring out if I can have just one or two lines of tab staffing but not the whole sheet any help would be appreciated and I apologize if this has been asked elsewhere
