MuseScore closes/crashes on save score!
Lavorando su uno spartito, improvvisamente il programma sichiude, o qualche volta, dopo aver fatto modifiche, dando il comando salva, il programma si chiude, non salvando le modifiche.

Working on a score, suddenly the sichiude program, or sometimes, after making changes, giving the save command, the program closes, not saving the changes.
Closes or crashes? Can you share the score giving the Problem and exact stspe to reproduce?
I open by double click on this file from directory "Download"
I add a note everywere
Then select "save"
The program closes
I think not crashes.
When i opn musescore again appear a window: see in attachments Jpeg
If I move file to directory "documents/musescore2/spartiti(scores?) the program works well as usual.
Is this the problem? i must work on directory score?
Giovanni
This is a crash, not a clean exit (and also possible loss of data), otherwise that dialog won't show on next start -> critical
I can't reproduce though, MuseScore and that score just stays open when I add notes and hit save.
What OS are you8 using? I'm on Windows 7
Is maybe your Downloads folder on a different drive and that drive is full?
linux mint

I have randomly experienced the same thing event. I made the mistake of answering "NO" to the "Restore last session?" question once and the score I was working on disappeared forever. Fortunately I had a copy that I could manually reenter which took a little time.
FYI, if that ever happens again (you accidentally decline to recover), the file is not lost. The fact that it asked means an autosave file exists; you can then restore it manually as described in https://musescore.org/en/node/52116
I can confirm it both on 2.1 and 2.0.3. 2.1 crashes at every save, i have no idea how to handle it. 2.0.3 crashes when it uses PortAudio API and not crashes when it uses neither ALSA or Jack API. According to log (attached), it has corrupted double-linked list somewhere inside every crash on both versions.
Gentoo, Qt 5.7.1
MuseScore 2.x needs Qt 5.4
In reply to MuseScore 2.x needs Qt 5.4 by Jojo-Schmitz
Is there any way to use it with any later version of Qt? 5.4 have been removed from portage, so i cannot downgrade it anymore
You can try the AppImage version of MuseScore, which should include all needed libraries.
Saving the score doesn't crash actual master.
On my computer, I have a score that is corrupted and does the same thing. It will let me open and change the score though. The problem was that I had a missing measure that had 0/4 beats(don't know how this happened), and I deleted it. After that, it began working again.
With a corrupt score anything can happen, including crashes. So corruptions need to get fixed at the earliest
