Crash by deleting the first measure in parts when key signatures are not in C/or not in concert pitch
Version 2.0.3 3c7a69d / Windows 7
1) Create a score for two flutes with a key signature with at least 1 sharp or 1 flat.
Or load this test file: 2 Flutes in D.mscz
2) Generate parts -> New all -> Ok
3) View part Flute (or Flute1)
4) Press "M" for disable MM rests
5) Select and delete (Ctrl + Del) the first measure
Result: crash
.Notes, and other cases
- No crash with the same score in C: 2 Flutes in C.mscz
- With transposing instruments (eg two sax): 2 sax.mscz
Same result with the same steps. But in another scenario: ie: repeat the same steps, but just before step #5, press "Concert pitch" in the part where you are: so: in C: result: no crash by deleting the first measure
- With a transposing instrument and a non-transposing instrument (eg Bb clarinet and piano): Clarinet Piano.mscz
Same behavior: crash in the clarinet part (except always if you toggle in Concert pitch in this part), no crash in the piano part:
Comments
Ok, I locate the change in last January, 20.
- No crash with these nightlies:
Branch master: a97e828
Branch 2.0.3:e986349
- Crash with:
Branch master: cc3b529
Branch 2.0.3: c01dd01
For fix : #89401: Deletion of the first measure removes the time signature in parts
I can't reproduce with a recent build on branch 2.0.3.
You mean branch 2.0.4?
Reproductible here with the 2.0.3, not with the currents nightlies, eg:221f20b
So it master doesn't crash and 2.0.4 doesn't either, I guess we can mark it fixed?
If it help, the fix in the branch master occurs in last July 7.
- Crash with this one:15c997c
- Not with: 3b04a7e
so with the fix for #117546: Deleting first measure of score in part with key signature crashes, which indeed got applied to master and 2.0.4
might even be a duplicate
Indeed, great, I did not recall this issue in July.
