Note grouping for four quaver notes with a bar duration of 4/4
Hello together,
I have a bar duration of 4/4 and recognized that MuseScore groups 4 subsequent quaver notes by a bar:
Is there a chance to change the automatic behavior, so that only two quavers are grouped by a bar (see the right side in illustration above)?
Or at least a manual way to break the "big" bar of 4 quavers into two bars (each with 2 quavers)?

Select the third note and double click in the palette beam properties on "beam start"

To break the beams manually on a case-by-case basis, use Beam Properties as mentioned above. To change the default for any given time signature, right click the time signature in your score and see Time Signature Properties (see Handbook under "Time signature" for more info).
