bad audio Musescore
I run my computer audio at 48, 128. Musescore changes it to 44, 1028 even though I rarely use the audio in Musescore. I've looked at setup but can't find anywhere to adjust Musescore audio settings.
It screws up going back and forth between Musescore and Sonar and also IE and other system audio devices.

First of all, the numbers you have quoted are meaningless without qualifiers.
48 what? 128 what?
Secondly what OS are you talking about - presumably some version of Windows if you're using Sonar?
Which version of Sonar?
In what way does it screw up the audio?
I have never experienced any difficulties at all in transferring audio between MuseScore and the latest version of Sonar Professional, or indeed any system audio devices. I am running Windows 10 Pro.
That of course doesn't mean it can't happen! So try to let us have more info so we can help you.

Musescore is sample rate 44.1 khz, buffer size 1024 kbytes
Sonar 8.5 Professional, windows 10 pro
Sound card is Focusrite Scarlet 2x2
Asio on my computer must be at 48 khz, 128 kbytes buffer size for my other audio components to work properly. When I open Musescore it changes the Asio settings to 44.1 khz, 1024 kbytes buffer. If I change it back to 48 khz, 1028 kbytes then Musescore audio won't work.
Normally any audio component on a computer will follow the Asio settings of the sound card. Musescore does NOT do this.
It's not a huge deal as I can open the Asio panel and change the settings. However it means I can't run Musescore along with any other audio on my system.
Just seems strange there is no place to set the Asio settings on Musescroe. Nowhere to open the Asio panel within Musescore.

Have you tried using MME instead of ASIO?
MuseScore uses Portaudio as the audio interface, and doesn't have it's own, so presumably this is something to do with the way Portaudio has been configured.
I have no idea how you would go about changing that.
One suggestion would be to use JACK drivers instead of PortAudio, so you have direct control over sample rates etc. It's a bit fiddly to set up, but once it is working it's pretty solid.
My only other suggestion is to look in your ASIO settings for a box to check which converts 44.1 kHz to 48kHz by default.
Certainly the ASIO4ALL settings interface comes up when setting MuseScore's audio API to ASIO - it comes up in what used to be known as the System Tray on the right of your Task Bar, so I would look for an ASIO setting panel there.
