How do I extend syllables from one staff to the next?
I'm a new user so bear with me...how do I extend syllables from one SATB (hymn template-2 staves) staff system to the next? If I use the underscore line on the first system, I get nothing when it moves to the notes on the second...how do I get around this?

Unfortunately, you don't, but others have requested this feature as well, so hopefully a future version will do this. Meanwhile, you can use the line tool to fake it.
If you're on Windows or Linux as a workaround you can paste a character from the Character Map.
The horizontal bar (U+2015) is an example...
