Playback stops working
I have been playing around with MuseScore for some time now, and just updated to v1.1, but there is a problem that has been present in every copy I have had installed. After about 15-20 minutes of use the playback quits. I can see the cursor moving, but the only sound coming out of the speakers is a sort of scratching sound, if anything at all. I get the same when I open QuickTime files( probably related?) but everything else works, all other sound files. The playback works for a while and then just stops.

As it is also happening with Quicktime that suggests it is a problem with your computer's sound system.
As such it's beyond the scope of support here, and you may be better off seeking help in forums dedicated to sound problems on your particular operating system.
