Shapes don't update

won't fix
The plugin changes all notes to the correct shapes, but when a note is edited and its pitch is changed, the shape doesn't update.
If automatic updating isn't possible, could a button or toolbar be added to make it easier to update the shapes? Even a keyboard shortcut would help.
Otherwise, the plugin works great. Thank you for all the hard work!

I don't know about this specific example, but generally the reload function (File menu) updates changes. It prompts for a "save".
@Xavierjazz, thanks for the suggestion. Reloading doesn't trigger the plugin to run again, so nothing changes.
I'm just looking for an easier way to run the plugin as I'm composing and editing music.
Can somebody help a newbie install this in version 1.1 on a mac? I have tried creating directories in the applications and libraries folders and changing the file's name to shape_notes.js The app doesn't seem to find it.
I'm a complete novice and simply don't know what I'm doing, but i really want this plugin to work on my system
For Support requests please use the forum
It seems you want to install MuseScore 1.1 on a Mac, this has nothing to do with the "Shape notes - Sacred Harp & Aiken" plugin, so is completely irrelevant to this feature request.
Edit: aparently you did use the forum meanwhile: http://musescore.org/en/node/16079
Hi Jojo. I am a baffled newbie, sorry if I'm making silly mistakes. I am NOT struggling to install 1.1. I have it working fine. I have been struggling to install 1.2 and now know why. My OS can't support it.
I guess I need to put in a second request for support.

No need for a 2nd request for support: there is no MuseScore version 1.2 available for MacOS 10.5 or below
There is no provision in the current plugin framework to trigger a plugin for each edit. So it's not possible currently to update the notehead while editing.
