Ledger lines with gracenotes

Running MuseScore 1.1 on Windows 7. I have noticed that ledger lines are not visible for gracenotes except if the note is between ledger lines (this applies to a gracenote inserted above or below the staff lines). For normal notes, the ledger line is visible. The problem with gracenotes makes it difficult to distinguish between adjacent gracenotes.

As a workaround, I am having to insert a horizontal line and position it over the noteheads of the gracenotes as required. I've tried changing the notehead size for gracenotes in the general style settings but it makes no difference for this problem.
