[1.1] Auto-muting after notes is too aggressive
It seems that MuseScore mutes the synthesizer output when no notes are playing. The problem is that this can sound very ugly at times when MuseScore assumes no sound is playing when in fact it is. This is especially noticeable with larger room sizes in the reverb settings and instruments having a very short release time in the SoundFont.
To reproduce, load the attached project, and set the following reverb options in the synthesizer settings:
. Room Size: 0.85
. Damp: 0.26
. Width: 0.94
. Rev: 55% (or higher)
. Cho: 0%
Upon playback of the project, you will notice a distinct click between notes, as the sound is automatically muted too early.

Does it only affect 1.1?
I'm struggling to reproduce with this file and the settings. Is there anything else required?
I am using MuseScore 1.1, but I'll try it with the development version and see if the issue persists there.
After compiling from SVN, I can confirm that this bug does not exist in 2.0 5263M.
Apparent in 1.2, but fixed in the trunk.
