skipping around

Suddenly I'm finding that when I enter a note (say the first note in a chord), the page moves. Then, when I insert the next note in the chord, the page moves back. I can still enter stuff, but it is very annoying for the score to keep skipping back and forth across the screen making me have to find where I last made an input.
