Add -> Text should have a custom section
In the Style->Text dialogue, the user can add a custom text format and give it a label.
It would be a nice feature if the Add->Text main menu had an extra drop-down list or separated section for "custom" texts. An extra sub menu would be more tidy rather than a separation bar depending on how many customizations were involved.
Any cons or ideas?

The provided text styles can be customized and even implemented using shortcuts, i.e. there isn't much of a reason to use custom texts if you know exactly what you're doing and don't need the default settings. Notwithstanding (oh these English words), the user could potentially benefit from custom text having other accessibility options besides the Inspector's Style drop-box.
Over and out.
Just an observation: there is a difference between a *type* of element and a *style* of text applied that element. You cannot create a new element type, only a new style of text to apply. So somehow you'd still need to tell MuseScore what element type you wanted to create.
Also, since styles are per-score, somehow MuseScore would have to manage switching out the menus every time you changes scores. We briefly toyed with the idea of allowing custom styles in palette elements had had to reject that for the same reason.
