Bug? Concerning Stem direction with beamed-notes
With unbeamed notes, e.g. quarter notes, one can press 'X' and the stem direction will change to be reflected upon the Inspector's "Stem Direction" setting. Within the Inspector one can change from Auto to Up or Down and this will again be reflected upon the actual note on the sheet music.
OK.
Now, with beamed notes, e.g., a set of beamed eighth notes, one can still press 'X' for stem direction change, but this change will not be reflected upon the Inspector's Stem Direction setting. This seems to be a bug: it should be shown up or down still, and its being beamed should not affect this. Vice versa, selecting up or down in the Inspector doesn't have any affect on the notes, but pressing 'X' does. The extra problem here is that since it's not reflected properly in the Inspector, you can have a downstem showing yet have it say Up in the inspector!
P.S. Properly the actual beam itself will show the correct setting in the Inspector. Maybe someone can reason this away as making up for the direction of the note's stem setting not being reflected in the Inspector, but it seems they should be connected to each other.
Any thoughts or observations on this? Maybe I'm wrong in understanding the situation, and If so, an explanation would be highly appreciated.

If you click not on a note , but on the beam itself, all works good

True, as was stated in the P.S. :)
Do you think the note shouldn't show the actual stem direction in the Inspector after the beam direction has been altered?
P.P.S. That MuseJazz font in the screen shot looks nice. I haven't really tried it out over here.

Sorry I'm French, I have'nt correctly read the PS !
For MuseJazz you find it in STYLE but it works good for the text or brackets, but not for notes, for me

I agree. I may use it but more than likely only for Chords & Lyrics.
