Soundfonts . . . ?

At the risk of sounding completely stupid when it comes to programming (which might be slightly true...), is it possible to combine soundfonts? For instance, I like the oboe, clarinets, and French horns in one soundfont, but I prefer the trumpets and strings in a different soundfont. Is there any way to put them together so I can have the good sounds from each?
