Cannot increase Guitar Tablature stave spacing
I am running
Musescore Version 2.0.3.1. Revision 6347ed6
on MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.2
I apologize in advance, but I’ve done my best to search the handbook and forums for help.
I created a guitar tablature displaying guitar note duration stems, fretboard diagrams, and chord names. I need to increase the tablature stave spacing so that the notations are not overlayed.
It appears this should be done simply by
Goto Style>General>Page
Then increase the value of Stave distance.
but I see no change in spacing.
I also tried changing Staff Properties | Scale to 100% and to 0% but that did not have any affect.
Thanks - any help would be appreciated.

Have you changed the parameters as in the image?

Thank you, that does what I need. (I really thought I had tried that.)
This is what I expected to see when changing Staff Distance (same page), which still make no visible difference. Maybe I don't understand what Staff Distance means related to guitar tablatures.
Also thanks for the link to various breaks and spacers - I'll read up.

"Staff distance" = distance between staves for multiple instruments within a system. That is, a score for guitar and flute, it controls the distance between those two staves. System distance is, as the name implies, the distance between *system* - one "line" of music and the next. If your music is for solo guitar, no standard notation just tab, then your system contains only a single staff, so staff distance has no effect, but system distance is still what controls the distance between systems.

Thanks Marc, I appreciate the explanation.
